| An revolutionary site for logophiles and voracious readers alike | | I signed up for this site about two years ago, but soon after I forgot
about it, not quite understanding the premise. After entering into
graduate school, I came across it once again and wondered why I had
not began using it sooner! Over Christmas break I tore through my
burgeoning and ever-growing collection of books, and in the course of
one day listed nearly 100 books. As the orders started pouring in and
I began receiving books, I realized just how much money I was saving
through the use of this site. I have found new homes for books I
couldn't quite bring myself to part with and have received so many new
books, many of which I add to my list after I've read them. I can't
believe I didn't begin using this site sooner. It makes those of us
with an addiction to books who buy more than we can ever hope to read
acquire new books without a heavy hit to your wallet. Everytime I get
a new order, or an email that a book is on the way, it's like getting
a little present in your email inbox. It is so simple and requires
nothing more than printing free postage and putting a book in the
mail, and the books you want in return are kept in a Netflix-like
queue. It's revolutionary and yet so simple at the same time, it's
amazing it wasn't thought of earlier. I am completely enamored of this
site, and I couldn't think of a better way to get new books so often

come from. Green pins for out going and red for coming in it's really

want to keep and Bookins is brilliant to help me recycle books. So far
the quality of the books I've gotten has been excellent and it's a

| Wonderful way to recycle and reuse! | | I love Bookins! Every 8 months my book club comes up with a new list
of books and the first place I go to fulfill the list is right here.
Easily 85% of my book club books come from Bookins. Once I've enjoyed

I usually get my books from the library but on occassion do buy books
and trade them with a friend. But once I get them back, I usually don't

Service contacted me to inquire what date I shipped the book and if I
had any feedback, I explained that I shipped the book well over two
weeks ago and was curious about where it had ended up because it
had never registered on the USPS tracking site. Customer Service let
me know that it was not a problem and that I was not responsible for
the shipment. They even credited my account for the points that the

| This is my favorite book site! | | I only became a member this year and right away I can tell that this
bookswap site is definitely different from others that I belong to. The
major difference is that I can now get the more popular books so much
faster instead of waiting for months and even nearly 2 years before I
see any sign of the popular books I wanted. Most of the time I get tired
of waiting so long and just go to the bookshop to get one.
The customer service is also exceptional. They respond very promptly
within 24 hours and is extremely responsive to fixing problems on a
timely basis. I have also made several suggestions to improve their
site and noted that they do listen and take suggestions seriously.

convienient way to purchase used books at a reasonable price.
Theselection and genre is very diverse, with something for almost
anyone. It takes at least 2 weeks to get the books you earned points
for. The only thing I would change is the ability to select the order in
which you recieve the books on you want list. Sometimes there are
books I am more interested than others on my list. The books I have

| Keeping my bookshelves blissfully available for the books I truly love... | | As a librarian, I do not believe in owning books, except those that I
either read once a year without fail or wish to share with my children
someday. I do occasionally buy books, preparing for a trip or on a
whim, and I do receive them as gifts, but I hate having books I didn't
really enjoy or don't want to read again taking up space on my
bookshelves. So when I discovered Bookins, it was an easy way to get
rid of all those books that I'd bought but didn't want to move into
our new house, plus get myself a steady new stream of literature to

for reading classes has been very difficult and expensive for our

| This site has saved my life! | | I was reading the Sunday paper when I came across this little article
about a site called Bookins.com. That Monday I immediately went
over to my daughter's to use their computer to investigate this site in
further detail and the partnership began that day. I joined up and
began listing my books on the website and I am happy to announce I
have "swapped" at least 25 books and received an equal amount in
return. My love for books all began in the Second Grade when the
teacher discovered I wasn't lying when I said I couldn't read. I had
slipped thru the system and past along to the next grade and couldn't
read my name much less the words in a book. She quickly set about
correcting that problem, along with my parents and sister's help and
now I read a book a day or at least one every two days. I can't seem to
get enough books and what is "enough books"? I have 150 plus listed
with Bookins.com and that doesn't even begin to cover the hundreds I
have piled and stacked everywhere in my house and my daughter's
house. I vow when I enter a bookstore that I am only going to look and
in the same breath, I am purchasing no less than four books to take
home and then list on Bookins.com. Bookins.com has saved my life
and my relationship with my children. I treasure my books and it helps
to know that there are people wanting my books, who will treat them
with respect and have the desire to read them like I did at one time.
And to top it off, they have books I can "purchase" in return and
Bookins.com has made the process of acquiring more books painless
to my pocketbook. Thank You Bookins.com for starting the site and
helping people like myself to be able to "purchase" more books and
then trade them for valuable points to get more. If anyone has the time,
check out my list of books for Trade, the selection ranges from murder
mysteries, alot of True Crime (my favorite subject to read about),
autobiographies, humor books and self-help books (Chicken Soup for
the Soul series), I have even started listing children books on the site,

| This is the best thing to happen for books EVER!!! | | So we decided to buy an RV, and become full timers. Wonderful
lifestyle, except what do we do with the house full of stuff. Well my
library, which at one time was an entire room came with me in the
motorhome. We have books under pillows, under chairs, disguised as
end tables with lovely coverings , and tucked away in baskets, boxes
and coolers. Needless to say when I decided to weed through my

| The Most Amazing Book Trading Website I Have Ever Used! | | I found this website actually from the One Spirit book club. Someone had written a review
about a book featured there and mentioned that she preferred Bookins. I had never heard
of it, so I thought I would check it out.
Upon the first moment I arrived on the homepage to this website I was amazed! Free
books? There must be a catch! The only catch was shipping... but $3.99 no matter what
size or edition book?? I had to try this out.
Well I have been with Bookins for a few months now. I have exchanged books back an
forth. Let me tell you, I have NOT been disappointed! I get so excited when I receive and
email saying I have a book on the way, or that a new home has been found for one of my
beloved books.
I was doing book crossings for awhile, but never heard any reports on the books I would
lay out for people to take. This is much more fulfilling for a bibliophile like myself.

wonderful service. It's incredibly easy to use, and there is great reward
in sending books to readers who actually want them. I've found a
number of books for which I was looking, and I've been pleased at how
quickly I received them and how good their condition was. I would
never have had similar good fortune in a used bookstore. I particularly
like the fact that members can put books on "backorder" if they're not
currently available. One of my backorders has already been fulfilled!

| The best solution for a pack rat! | | I read about several book-swapping internet sites in a magazine about
six months ago. It became clear to me very quckly that Bookins was
the easiest and most efficient swapping site out there. The web site is
easy to navigate and it's great to search for books both by author and
by category. But what made me choose this site over the others was
the way I could print out postage and drop books off in any post office
box. The other sites require you to go the post office and pay for the
outbound shipping up front, plus you can't track the shipment. Bookins
handles all the details and tracks books from start to finish. I love used
bookstores but this is the easiest thing ever! Now I am less inclined to

| I Love Bookins! | | I read about Bookins in USA Weekend in June and joined right away.
Within several days, I shipped two books and ordered one. Now, after
a month of member ship, I have shipped five books and ordered five
books. I find it takes only a few days for the books I order to arrive.
Hardly a wait compared to the "hold list" ast the public library for books
on the bestseller list! And there is no better fate for the books I have
bought and read than to find a new home with someone who wants

| Easy to get hooked on Bookins... | | What a great idea -- I've been a member long enough to know that it
really works. This concept is especially great for people who read a lot
of books, treat them with care, but don't have the shelf space to keep
them around. It's like a lending library with benefits -- they'll
backorder books on your wishlist, and you never have to leave home!
The shipping charge for received books is very reasonable. With only
a couple of exceptions, the books I received were in very good
condition -- much better than those you'd borrow from the library.
Reading a good book, then sending it back out into the world for

| Quick and easy!! | | I only wish I'd come up with the idea for Bookins myself. I read two or
three books a week and am always looking for some way to share the
books once I've read them. Bookins is the best win-win solution I've
ever come across.

claim can be done by being a member. Thus far, all I can say is,

| A Wonderful Experience | | I live in a small town without a book store and a library that tries, but a month ago I was
forced to use a walker for a few days and couldn't get to the library and found this site!
What a deal that was...good things happen from bad things....
I'd always collected my read books and given them to the library and all of a sudden there
was a better way! I decided to try it and it's wonderful. Mitchell is very attentive to
problems and I have more books in my 'pile' than I can read right now. How great is that?
Plus the books I'd love to read are at my fingertips. All it takes is a few minutes listing the
books I'd like to trade and that is relatively painless!
I can't say enough good things about this plan! I love it. I love the concept. It's like
finding an online great used book shop!

| What a find! | | If book buying can be classified as an addiction, my family and friends
would have undoubtedly scheduled an intervention for me by now.
There were days I would choose a favorite author's newly published
novel over dinner/transportation/antiobiotics.
Then I found Bookins. Instead of paying over $20 for a book that will
be collecting dust for the next decade, I pay nothing for shipping, and
send off a book I've read and will be appreciated, all as easy as can
